Ico: Melody In The Mist - Michiru Oshima

Here is an atmospheric game score by Michiru Oshima. This is quite a departure from the works I have posted previously. Though the name of the album is Ico: Melody In The Mist, you won’t find much melody here – it is mostly ambient background music – which would probably marry up with the graphics from the game quite nicely – as it has a ‘myst’ like quality about it. There is one track that has a good melody to it – “Castle in the Mist” - it is a quite catchy and pretty use of acoustic guitar – and now finds regular rotation in my Oshima mixes. So for fans of something different – this one’s for you.

Sorry – when I was ripping it for some reason I left off track 16 which is the title song (a very good track!) So it is uploaded separately. This track reminds me quite a bit of Haibane Renmei (another Anime – if anyone is remotely interested – I’ll make this OST available)
